Such language, images and situations are indicated in this schedule with each film’s listing. AFTRS advises that is not to ‘publicly’ exhibit a film classified R 18+ if a minor is present during any part of the exhibition (s 12(1)).
Penalties may be imposed for an offence under this section.It is an offence for a minor who is 15 or older to attend the exhibition in a ‘public place’ of a film classified R 18+, knowing that the film is so classified, and it is an offence for a parent or guardian of a minor to permit the minor to attend the exhibition in a public place of a film classified R 18+.

This is Barbara Grummels' personal blog, created in enthusiastic response to these free screenings at AFTRS.
We have been deprived of a cinémathèque in this 'city of film' for so long.
These films don't fill the void but are a most welcome move in the right direction.
